Do 4 minute Workouts Really Work?

8/5/15  ~~

Hello Friends!

I’m writing this from Indianapolis after filming new Tabata follow along workout videos.  I am super excited about them because Tabata workouts are only 4 minutes long and you still get an amazing workout due to the extreme intensity of exercises.

Imagine never feeling guilty again about skipping your workout because even on your busiest of days – all you need is four minutes for a great fat blasting workout.

So even on super busy days when you don’t have 10 minutes for your Toned in Ten workout –  you always have another alternative that only takes 4 minutes and offers amazing results.

You can’t go wrong with these workouts and you will find them a much needed option on your super busy days!

For those of you that have already purchased my Tabata workouts I am offering you the videos free of charge. Yay!  Please email me to let me know you would like the videos and I will send you the download link for instant access.
 🙂

For those of you that may have passed on the opportunity to buy the Tabata workouts before – you can click the link here to buy them now with the new videos included.

Products I Love

I have mentioned this one before – but it’s worth mentioning again because it is my skin lifesaver!  I woke up the other morning with a rather large red spot on my cheek, not a fun way to start the day!  I applied a bit of Bare Minerals Night Transformation treatment to the area and then applied my makeup as usual.  By the end of the day it was completely gone – Not even kidding.  Now I can’t guarantee it will work this good for everyone, but if you have those embarrassing blemishes, it’s worth a try!  You can find it online, or at a Sephora or Bare Escentual Store.

Paleo-Chewy-Fudgy-Homemade-Chocolate-Brownies-2

This recipe comes from Living Healthy With Chocolate. Yum!

Chewy Fudgy Homemade Brownies (paleo, gluten-free)

Ingredients
  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup raw honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup 70% dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
  1. preheat the oven to 350°F
  2. line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper, covering all four sides of the pan
  3. in a food processor or high speed blender, process the cashews and water until creamy, scraping the sides as needed. Make sure you end up with a very creamy paste and there are no chunks of cashews remaining.
  4. in a bowl whisk the egg, then add all ingredients listed, including the cashew butter and chocolate, and mix to combine. Batter will be thick.
  5. pour batter evenly onto the bottom of the prepared baking pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, approximately 20 minutes
  6. set pan on a wire rack to cool then cut into squares
  7. optional: melt about ¼ cup dark chocolate in a double boiler and drizzle over the top of each square. I do this by using a ziplock bag and cutting a small whole on one end.
